How We Rate

Our ratings are editorial and independent. We publish our methodology so you can see exactly what we assess and why. A rating reflects our assessment of the operator — not what an operator pays us.

Who we include

For Ontario, we only review operators that are licensed by AGCO and registered with iGaming Ontario. We do not list grey-market or offshore operators on our Ontario pages. If an operator is not legally permitted to offer real-money play in the province, it does not appear here.

What we assess

• Licensing & safety — registration status, operator track record, dispute handling.
• Player protection — deposit/loss/time limits, self-exclusion, transparency of terms.
• Game range & fairness — breadth of games and use of certified, tested software.
• Payments — supported methods (including Interac), withdrawal speed and clarity.
• Support & usability — quality of customer service and the overall experience.

How commercial relationships are handled

We may earn a commission when a reader signs up with an operator through our links. This is how we fund independent research. It does not influence scores, rankings, or whether an operator is included. Compensation and editorial assessment are kept separate, and we disclose our advertising relationship clearly on every page.

Accuracy & corrections

We aim for accuracy and review operator details regularly. We do not publish specific bonus offers or inducements in line with Ontario advertising standards. If you spot something out of date or incorrect, please contact us and we will review and correct it.
